Joanne was one of my best freinds of whom I grew up with most of my life.She is the one in the photo wearing the lovely rah rah denim dress, and her (not so cool) sunglasses above her head.I am the (not so fashionable one) in my 3 quater jeans and my jazzy orange top! Please bear in mind we wear both only 10 years old on this photograph! If I can remember correctly we were going to our leavers disco as we were approaching our senior school ST Thomas Becket.We both got the nickname The Shadows as we were always together, this stuck with us even before she died and on every card we signed we would put love your "shadow".
Me and Joanne went through Nursery,Infants and Senior schools together and we even lived locally after we left school.Although we both moved on in life , we used to see eachother every day at our daughters school St Columbas (our old juniour school). Joanne had two beautiful daughters Laura and Megan. Laura I see on a regular basis and who reminds me of her mum Joanne in many ways.Joanne died in september 2003 at such a young age of 25.My heart sank , the day i found out. Id lost a very special freind but more so 2 beautiful girls had just lost their mummy.
I have created this site in loving memory of Joanne as her 30th birthday is soon approaching on the wednesdasy 11th june 2008.I know Joanne will be partying on down with the other anglels.My deepest sympathy goes out to Joannes family, Mum ,Dad,Brother Kevin, and her two wonderful daughters, Laura and Megan. Joanne is hugely missed, going to the school to collect my daughters is a daunting task as I used to love a good old gossip with joanne but sadly i cant any more.

Light a candle, see it glow, watch it dance when you feel low. Think of me think of light i'll always be here day or night. A candle flickers out of sight but in your heart i still burn bright. Think not of sadness that iam not here think of gladness and joyous cheer. I have not left i have not gone,iam here to stay my beloved one. So when you light a candle and see it glow and you watch it dance, in your heart you'l know that i would never leave you even when you are feeling blue, I sit up here with the lord and know that i am now watching over you

hello joanne just having a quite moment thinking of you, i wanted to let you know that i have just had son number 2 his name is Lindon i wish that you were here to see him he's gurjuws. i also wanted to tell you that iam getting married next year, and that we always said that wen we get married that we were goner be each others maid of honour. so instead i have chose both your two girls to be my bridsmaids in honour of you. so i hope you dont mind.missing you always never forget you cuz.love always jules xxxxx
cant believe how long its been Jo,
I found an old school picture of the whole year, it brought back memories from school when we used to sneak out every dinner time an go to my brothers flat on plucky to eat our butties, sometimes he wasnt in so we just used to sit on the stairwell an have a great laugh just acting stupid the pair of us, then we would go the shop an get a pocketful of sweets to go back to school with, the worst part was having to try to sneak back past Mr Rice to get back in, we would come up with the stupidist excuses!!
